Welcome to TechStart. By purchasing a Pitch Deck Sprint or utilizing our presentation design services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before starting your project.

1. Scope of Services

TechStart provides productized freelance pitch deck presentation design services, categorized into three packages:

  • Deck Polish: Visual redesign facelift for up to 10 completed slides.
  • Investor Deck: Visual design plus light narrative restructuring and story editing for up to 15 slides.
  • Fundraising Sprint: Narrative strategy, visual design, and speaker notes for up to 15 slides.

All work is based on content, metrics, outlines, and instructions supplied by the client. TechStart does not verify the accuracy of the facts or business information provided.

2. Delivery and Turnaround

The 48–72 hour delivery window begins only after payment is received in full and the client has submitted a complete set of files, content outlines, brand assets, and styling preferences via the intake system. Turnaround times are subject to calendar availability and public holidays.

3. Revisions and Feedback

Packages include a defined number of revision rounds. To keep timelines within bounds, feedback must be submitted as a single consolidated list of comments per round. Revisions outside the scope of the original package or exceeding the included rounds will be billed at our standard rate of $20 per slide.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client is solely responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, non-confidential, and complete company and market information.
  • Ensuring they have proper rights and licenses for all logos, imagery, and files supplied.
  • Reviewing the final deliverables for factual correctness before using them with third parties.

5. Intellectual Property and Portfolio

Upon final payment and project delivery, all intellectual property rights to the custom slides are transferred to the client. For projects secured under the Founding-Client offer, the client grants TechStart permission to showcase select anonymized before-and-after slide transformations in its public portfolio.

6. No Guarantees

TechStart improves visual clarity and design professionalism. We make no guarantees, warranties, or promises regarding successful fundraising outcomes, investor introductions, pitch competition wins, or grant approvals.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TechStart be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the presentation materials provided.
